信州木曽の本流育ちの幅広アマゴ、別名「タナビラ」を釣るための、伊東由樹のスペシャルゲームロッドです。およそ13年にわたって木曽タナビラを釣り続けてきた伊東の知見と先見を具現化すべく、MPW（メガバスパフォーマンスワークス)がテーラーメイド。タナビラを狙い撃つための、ルアーと適切な距離感の中で展開する「緻密なルアーマネジメント」、「連続的な高速スナップワーク」、「瞬時のアタリ感知性(手感度)」を求め、希少樹木の白檀をチョイス。トゥイッチを主体に多用するためティップダウンのバランスを追求し、あえてショート寸法で削りだし、本流仕様で設定したスペシャルブランクと融合した、こだわりの一本です。タナビラを育む太い流れに立ち、GH65に代表される重量級ヘビーシンキングミノーを連日繰り出すトゥイッチを快適にこなします。ピンポイントから魚を呼び込むリアクションの釣りで電光石火のバイトを瞬時に掛け墜とし、強い流れに翻弄されることなく至極の魚を最短でランディングするために特化した、特異なセットアップがされています。トルクフルなシャフト「タナビラスペシャル」は、源流だけでなく、あらゆるロケーションに臆することなく多様なルアーで挑んでいけるワイドなパワーレンジを内包しています。

This is Yuki Ito's special game rod for targeting wide-eyed amago, also known as "tanabira," which roam the currents of Kiso, Shinshu. Tailor-made by MPW (Megabass Performance Works) to Ito’s exacting specifications, the GHBF511-4L features super high-density Ivory Rosewood for its "precise lure management," "continuous high-speed snap work," and "instantaneous bite detection (hand sensitivity)" to target and capture the elusive tanabira. The rod is designed with a tip-down balance for a twitch-heavy technique and is set to larger and stronger stream specifications. Standing in the current that nurtures the tanabira, the rod comfortably enables twitching of heavy sinking minnows such as the GH65 day after day. It is specially geared for reaction fishing to trigger bites in tight windows, deliver lightning hooksets, and unleash the power needed to pull trophies from the strong current. The torquey shaft of the "Tanabira Special" delivers a wider power range and precision control to allow anglers to approach diverse waters with dynamic confidence.
