This special model is perfect for dominating difficult targets like kurosoi and oblong rockfish from the boat. Using a layered configuration unique to this model, the blanks have been fine-tuned for a specific shaft tension. As a result, the rod easily handles 1 oz. class Texas rigs and metal jigs, enabling smooth and pleasant castability. The uncommon 7’2” length is the result of extensive on-the-water testing with a view towards comfortable usability, in an attempt to reach a new gold standard for blank and handle length.
